Illusions

I see you in my mind -
Yet, you are here;
Before me, but not -
But, will you appear?

I am still frozen -
Pictures left untaken;
Deep within my heart
I feel sad; forsaken.

Gone, in an instant -
As fast as you came;
Like a flash of light -
Left, not the same.

First Encounter

And, are you there? Really there?
This, the question, I must ask –
My imagination is running high;
Perhaps, this is the land of lulabye!

Panic sets in, and you are gone –
Shaking, I stand in waiting;
Thus, will you come back to show ?
Or is this of only my creating?

I felt the stretch from beyond;
Felt the awe of you pulling back –
Now I stand wondering ,
Is it my sanity that I lack?

Ghostly Persuading

I see you, and hear you –
I know your deepest pain;
I want so much to help you –
Your fears are to blame.

Release, my dear one,
All the fears you hold inside –
Draw yourself unto the light;
It is there, where you reside.

Your time has ended here –
It is time now to rest;
You are not cursed to walk –
You are meant to be blessed.

Regret

Moments, lost in time eternal;
Never more to be revived –
In a simple flash of time,
Of your love, I am now deprived.

And once, to me, you truly were –
Everything within my being;
Lost, now, it seems, forever –
Before my eyes, now I am seeing;

All that once was and was to be –
Stolen, by a lash of the tongue;
Thoughtless, pointless, words –
Old is the heart that once was young.

Seek Within

Today, I saw the light through your eyes-
Buried beneath all the rubble and stone
Waiting with anticipation to be released-
And through the world, its brilliance grown.

A Healer’s energy within you, I feel-
Powerful beyond many masters of healing-
Why then, do yourself, not heal-
But instead, cover yourself in armored shielding?

Deserving of all that is you and within you-
Though feeling of all, the least deserving;
Helping everyone around you in some way-
But always, left with a constant yearning.

It is deep within you to discover-
Seek for it with new and different eyes-
Eyes that see within and not without;
It is there, every answer you seek lies.
