Come Home

Gladly, will I submit to your claim;
Knowing not, even, all you ask of me -
Knowing still, with all my heart, all I am;
All I long for, is still yet to be.

The words I long to hear from your lips;
I beg you, put them to my name -
Know, that I am here, still, in wait;
Waiting to rid you of your pain.

I feel your breath and know it's pace;
Though miles of road keep you afar -
Wherever I am, I carry my heart;
And, so my love, there you are.

A man of action standing back, so timid -
Come to me, and show your face;
Let me hear in the sound of your voice -
In those words, await your taste.

The truth you explode on every level;
Your own heart, though, you hide;
Let go of all that holds you so tightly -
Close your eyes, and open wide.

Embrace what your heart awaits;
Beneath the veil of shroudded mystery -
What it lacks, stands waiting;
Aligned in perfect symmetry.
