Walking on the edge of reality -
Knowing reality really is not;
It is only what you can conceive -
So, on the edge, I'm really not!
What is brought to your life -
Comes only from within;
Trials you bring to yourself;
Challenging yourself to win.
What you can mentally imagine -
Can be brought to reality;
No matter what that may be -
To create your own normality.
What, then, will you create -
Once you finally do see?
Life is all about creating -
So simple, it's meant to be.

Judgement
Wasn't it just yesterday I saw you -
You had heart break in your eyes;
Today you are captured in love;
As if you never had any ties.
So easy it is, it seems -
To just find another and fall again;
Was it really love that you felt -
Or was it just an act then?
Did you think, then, you would see -
The jealousy within me rage;
Perhaps you didn't know me at all -
I have already turned the page.
Never, will you ever know -
What it is you have truly lost;
Nor will you know what was waiting -
Or what your judgement has cost.

Release
Off my rocker, or so you thought -
So serious, you thought I seemed;
Ready to give it all up for you -
In the morning, light gleamed!
Up the stakes, and raise them high -
Shouldn't we see what it means?
Who, now, is willing, and who is not -
Who, now, is stuck in between?
Time, of the utmost importance -
Cannot be left to merely chance;
Every single moment now counts -
I release now, this circumstance.
Boulders falling, crashing my path -
Cannot sway the road for long;
Always, will I set back the course -
To the path where I belong!

Contemplation
Moments lost, time seems wasted -
Can I recover what has not been?
Should I wait, or cut my losses?
This hopelessness I will not win.
Can I know, truly know for sure -
What was really meant to be?
Or was it never meant to be at all -
And not meant for me to see?
Like a scared cat, you sprinted -
What happened to all that bravery?
Courage being indeed your strength -
Did you think it to be slavery?
Confused, I let it all go -
Down to the tiniest last string;
Lost for any of the reasons -
Accepting the heartache it brings.
Still in a haze of all the whys -
I now turn and walk away;
Leaving you to your choices -
With nothing left to say.

Exposed
A simple phrase it was indeed -
Just a word or two in teasing;
All that was needed in any case -
To bring it all beyond reasoning.
So, here, I sit - knowing that -
The fairytale has ended;
Secretly wishing it had been true -
In a life where none pretended.
Still I took that chance - knowing -
What the end result would be;
Wanting not, to wait for the heart
That truly could not see.
Drawn once again, trying to believe -
The love of my lifetime still awaits;
One who can truly love me openly -
Exists not, in the land of mates.

Rescued
Chaos, all around me, sucking me in -
Lost for direction, crumbling fast;
Sinking, beginning to succomb -
Then, here you are, my love, at last!
Suspended in the luscious moment -
Knowing, at last, you are so near;
I close my eyes; feel you about me -
Transported the moment you are here.
Every ounce of fear quickly released -
Finally, you have made the choice;
One step closer to the realization -
Ah, the beautiful sound of your voice.
